The Motorola ZN5 is still in it's basic stage. We'll we can't expect much do we?

the camera looks like a painting! :D i know it is still just a prototype, i'm just amused! its actually cool in a way, its like having painted the scene rather than taking a picture.

i still cant believe..., what moto members are doing?????
in india they havent even released a 3.2MP camera, what to think of 5MP.
i would love to have moto, but i dont want a 2MP and thats too of really bad quality.....moto is no longer in market race, even china phones have 5MP.

Seriously, Motorola is in deep deep trouble based on little creativity to roll out new but desirable designs. - cool factor! cool features and specs. I also think it's a matter of time that motorola will eventually die due to natural cause. or sell it phone business while it still has some value.
Come on.... Just take a look at the phone here. Does motorola think they going to complete with Nokia, SE, Samsung, LG to gain some market share. Seriously, I doubt it very very much. This is really done out of desperation.
It's a disappointment motorola.. Other brands are rolling out a range of models and in double quick time and nice ones too. What did motorola roll out??? One miserable model!.
I maybe too harsh sounding here, but I am just stating the fact.

Finally, a review of the ZN5. Why are so many people negative about the ZN5? I have some things to clear up so that future comments will not be as useless as some of the previous ones:
1. Keypad - The keypad uses the ModeShift keypad, similar to the ROKR E8, NOT the RAZR series. Understand? The keys light up according to their use so the whole pad would not be cluttered.
2. Camera - As powerful as the 5mp camera is, it's still in the beta phase. Repeat after me, B-E-T-A. Beta. So you should not expect stunning photos yet. It's still in development and don't ever tell me that 5mp is too late for Motorola. Better late than never guys.
3. Design - A lot of people grumble and rant about the ZN5's candybar design. It's not that ugly or anything, it's a bit better that other Motorola and even some other brand's designs. You said years earlier that "style over substance is wrong, so why are you now going against yourselves? Please.
Do not judge a book by its cover. Please do the same to the ZN5 and other future Motorola phones. It will not screw up again, I'm sure of that.

Who said Nokia's keypad is cramped only few Nokia keypad is cramped just compare text input speed with any other brand Nokia is faster in text input and i can see tons of Nokia hater but can't understand how Nokia is No.1 and Motorola is actually focusing on Telecom equipment rather than phone offcourse Kodak has best CMOS but let see how Motorola is going to use that.

This is perhaps the last attempt to save the company, eihter this works, or Motorola is effectively dead.
Very good looking phone, but if it don´t arrive soon, it will be outdated in a second

*yawn* more people saying omg no new design... But seriously why pick on just Motorola, Nokia, Samsung have been doing it longer
For example have you seen how many sliders Samsung have? Boring or what, O look another phone from samsung oh and it slides
Or Nokia, They have the worst keypads ever, Their either cramped and yu can't text comfortably or there so... Weird you can't use it, Motorola have the best keypads ever, Roomy and very nice to use,
After awhile peoples comments on Motorola become very very boring, If you don't like it don't comment, No one wants to hear it seriously, The Motorola Zn5 is Motorolas first joint phone with Kodak and will be the first of many, Motorola are redesigning their Mobile phone division and therefor they will (like AMD did) be a lil slower on production

Well I think this phone might give Motorola a little boost because honestly they need it. they have to get their things together because with phone like nokia n96, htc touch pro and sonic ericsson xperia x1 they going to win the market

CSingh, 13 Jun 2008hmmm the camera needs some work though this is a beta......... more$400? Even when it's $20 I wouldn't consider it.
Boring Morotola RAZR-like keypad... Yawn... Not to mention the UI...
Motorola is going downhill full speed as we speak...

Motorola was nearly finished but are now trying to compete with the others ,but to me this model will or not be a challenger unless the camera is top notch as the buttons might not impress alot of people,o.k they might of got away from the Razor design but this should have been a Slider or something simplier from Motorola
