The new panel will finally bring the promised but hardly achieved feature of low-frequency refresh rate.

These are all gimmick, at the end of the day it will consume more battery than Galaxy S21+

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2022Brag about the benefits. That's all. OP10 Pro, GT2... moreI presume, you've forgotten the hassle-bad hype that they created with their mediocre cameras the last generation.

I sincerely think Oppo should just stop existing outside China. They seem least interested in releasing anything elsewhere anymore. When they had half-baked, inefficient phones, they rushed to release it (ergo OP9/pro) and not when they have quality phones like the Find N, OP10 Pro, which genuinely seems intriguing with it's 5000mAh(battery)/80w(charging), LTPO 2 tech, they are releasing the last gen OnePlus 9RT in India.

      Thorough pricks.

Xiaomi phones usually don't properly utilize their hardware properly because of improper optimization.

            OP10 Pro, GT2 Pro, S22 Ultra, X80 Pro+, Find X5 Pro, 14 Pro/14 Pro Max, 12 Pro, 1iv/5iv all use LTPO.

OnePlus is not acting like they created or only one using. It is exactly same panel used by GT2 Pro.

If it's apple then it's the answer I was looking for. It's clear, that Samsung is producing it, it's stated in the article.

I actually thought it was Samsung but that's not important
My thoughts were simply: why on earth does OnePlus boast about a technology they didn't invent?
                And call themselves display pioneers??

iPhone 13 helped Samsung sell a lot more of its OLED panels

Supplying components to other companies is a big part of Samsung’s business. As far as mobile OLED panels are concerned, there’s no one that can match Samsung’s quality and production capacity.
So it’s no surprise to see that even Apple sources the OLED panels for its iPhones from Samsung. The two companies are otherwise tough competitors in the smartphone market, but they do have a symbiotic relationship.

Samsung is producing the displays for Apple. Moreover, Samsung has developed it's own LTPO technology, called HOP and it does not need to pay Apple for it's patent. Samsung was the first to make an LTPO-Display for phones, Apple only used it in its watches. Samsung is still making the displays for Apple. You Apple fans are really self centered!
