Why is Samsung making 2 variants of the same phone, making it different than the previous generation? (I am talking about Exynos and Snapdragon, not dual-sim) Samsung ruining their mid-rangers with Exynos..

Samsung DJ Koh enters with his “Competitive Logic” nonsense….
I think we are in for an interesting year between Samsung, Qualcomm & Mediatek comparing all of there flagship SoCs..
Mediatek for one is catching the market quickly.
I’m unsure as to where the Exynos 1200 will sit within the performance verses price bracket.
Sammy isn’t known for offering quality SoCs within its competitors price brackets.
I also wonder why the Exynos 1080 hasn’t appeared on any Samsung phone, surely Samsung using the 1080 would be cheaper to them than fitting the Snapdragon 778G to the current A52s.
Fundamentally performance is that very thing that opens your apps well and allows you to speedily browse around a mobile phones UI, RAM also potentially have an impact on the performance as well of course.

Give us some smaller phones, like A40 form factor, or even iphone mini like device. Many people i know don't like big phones, and they are considering iPhones instead of android

On a related note, if a53 gets rid of 3.5mm jack, I'll grab a52s and be happy for another 4+ years, like I did with s7.

I used to own Samsung galaxy A series..I switched to Realme devices, better built for new Phone company that offers better long lasting batteries and cameras with similar chip sets .Cost bit cheaper as well... Samsung batteries start to drain fast after 6 to 8 months in use...Not sure why this happens on my old A series that's why I switched different brands.. But the new Samsung M series if I can get in EU at a good price,I might switch back with that nice Big battery

Unless they can make a portless phone only then it's going to matter, now, 1 or 10 holes makes no difference
