The portless phone is coming soon. :)
We should be prepared. SIM card is the next thing that will be removed.

But the exclusion of the jack prevents basic functionality.

AnonD-1018516, 12 Jan 2022I don't know about you guys, but would you rather have... moreI use slow charging to keep my battery lasting longer and 15W charging only when I need it because my A52s came with no 25W charger (Might get one from Anker).

Anyways, if the battery is charging and it's temperature keeps going over 40°C, then the battery's lifespan will be significantly reduced. Companies probably throw in the fastest charging capabilities in a smartphone for marketing and for the batteries to wear out quicker, making the owner likely buy a new phone. It's a win win for them.

Want to fast charge every now and then and try to not have the phone get too hot? Try blowing air on it with a fan. That might help. I don't know if fast charging (hot battery or not) would wear it out faster than charging it slowly assuming the battery is kept at the same temperature when fast charging (with fan) or slow charging (no fan).

So as the price goes up headphone jack is removed

Ehh, I'm happy with my A52s with a headphone jack, expandable storage, and a snapdragon 788G processor ;)

Was going to get the A53 but leaks said no headphone jack and might have a slower processor (SD 720G or an Exynos which I will never buy because Mali graphics are terrible from my experience).

I dont know why people here insist on having super fast charging, when it has been proved time and time that batteries DO NOT LIKE HIGH TEMPERATURES.

It's not a matter of design, it's just their chemical nature. Extreme low or high temperatures can kill a battery in a matter of weeks.

And its not like you cant use your cellphone while charging, and honestly, that situation rarely happens (unless you are a guy playing games all day on the cellphone)
