GregLu, 14 Jan 2022It's he holding company but see all the research made ... moreYeah, I know they share a lot of resources and bukk buy components to save costs. Oppo have always manufactured OP phones in their plant in South China and they have always been majority owned by Oppo. However, the sales here is just talking about the Oneplus 10pro only and it has a very small market share in China. It only sells its flagship series and doesn't sell any Nord devices in China. Also Oppo sells oneplus in its online store but so far I haven't seen any Oneplus devices sold in offline Oppo stores in China. However, Vivo does sell IQOO phones in its offline stores. Xiaomi meanwhile has 108 offline stores (called Xiaomi Home) in the City I live in in China. It's a different ball game when brands have very little offline presence. They will never compete for sales with online only as i think over 70% of sales in China are offline but apart from that, lots of people won't be familiar with oneplus as they are not used to seeing the brand in stores

OnePlus is a joke now. No service and no support. Look at the OnePlus forums as one example. It went from being a fan club to a place where people complain and OnePlus ignores it all.

Anybody foolish enough to give them their money deserves what happens next.

                  Far from impressive lol
What matters is not how much they sell during 1s, 1min or 1h but consistency selling over weeks, months, years. That's what matters.

                    The company that settled.

I've said this many times but it's less impressive when you guys post these articles... It's a Chinese brand phone, being sold in it's home country that's the most populated country in the world. If these stats were from UK sales (even though one plus is fairly big here) then that would be impressive

                        Slow news, huh?

GregLu, 13 Jan 2022Small niche brand ? BBK is way bigger than Xiaomi !This is the Oneplus brand here and that brand is small relative to all the other BBK brands. BBK is just a holding company. Vivo and Oppo are a different story altogether as they have a vast offline sales network in China which is where they sell most of their phones but Oneplus basically don't have any offline stores. This article is about the Oneplus 10pro sales not about the other brands in the BBK group holdings

Pretty underwhelming numbers. But gotta build hype somehow!! Hope this year there are some real improvement not some fake "Hasselblad" name hype shenanigans again.
