It was day and light difference. iPhone photos bit underwhelming, may be true tone colours but they are not the best. But the videos of iPhone X and above were outstanding and sometimes better than stii pictures. But i normally avoid videos due to the space it occupies.

Lolol, who have seen how much more detail it captures, how sides are less blurry thx to better optics, the same as no lens flare, better low light etc etc., It's a wonder how it ends up at that low position. Not to mention non snapdragon non +.
I actually think it's best performer right now from professional view point, so much for dxo, where you get points for useless stuff like artificial bokeh.

In authoritarian states like China, all companies are required to do so and do it. There are also government programs coordinating and encouraging the transfer of technology from the West by private companies, which normal people know as stealing.
Any investment or payment to DxOMark from the major Chinese companies is probably coordinated to an extent with, and blessed by, the Chinese government and the CCP. This is why the article suggests taking these ratings with a large dose of salt.
