It would be very bad if Apple didn't take 1st place in q4 considering their launch schedule.
Samsung is still the biggest throughout the year, as a single brand. BBK is also very interesting.

Apple’s market share when compared to Galaxy S phones and the like is crushing year after year.

Manchito, 18 Jan 2022Those who say that Apple is a winner makes me laugh. They h... moreApple.
Once new generation hits the stores, sales of older iphones drop.
Current generation easily counts for more than 80% of the sales.
While Apple is selling basically over 150.000 devices that cost at least $600, other brag about selling similar amount of sub-$350.
Also, Apple is making way more money than all other combined.
How many galaxy M30 or redmi note 10 need to be sold to bring same amount of money single unit of 13 pro max brings?
The iphone sold in USA for $1200 costs $2100 in Turkey. Now imagine the amount of money Apple makes.
Also, about 5 million ipads sold per month.

Anonymous, 18 Jan 2022That doesn't make any sense, any Iphone would have sim... moreAlmost all android brands sell more midranges/low ends than flagships.
Asus has not made midranges for few years already, same applies to Meizu that only now going back to budget market.
Sony sells more 1 and 5 than 10 and Ace.
Yes, Apple has huge % of the market above $700.

bulbulito.bayagbag, 18 Jan 2022Dude, even if android oems sell a ton of budget, mid range ... moreYeah they're still king but not by much. The difference is getting smaller, like i said right? Like the data show. Let's see 2022, 2023. I have nothing against Apple, might even buy an iPhone as my next phone. Nor do i have against Android. The more competition, the better. It was a shame Huawei was forced out of the game. But others will come.

Those who say that Apple is a winner makes me laugh. They have only 23 percent guys, don't get too excited. That means the rest of smartphones sold running Android which is more than 70 percent. So, who wins now?

I won't. I rather spend my money on a good Android than on walled iPhone. And here where I live, only poor people or simple ones buy iPhone because this way they think that they have a status. Most of them with cracked screens, scratches, broken earpiece, because they don't have enough money to buy a new one. The rest? Android. Once you reach an age, you realise that you don't have to pay a fortune for a smartphone to send whatsapps and check social profiles.

Wonder how much Apple actually could have sold if they had enough phones to sell. Because of that they will have very high Q1 too, so many couldn’t buy iPhone 13 last year even if they wanted.
