Anonymous, 18 Jan 2022Shipments are devices sold. Not the number out of factories. In this context no it's not unit sold. It's whatever has been ordered by retailers, stores, distributors. Hasn't been actually sold to end consumers but is projected to be sold.

                      Alternative titles would be:

"Apple's marketshare is decreasing from 23% to 22% in 1 year."

if Samsung keep forcing using exynos, maybe they will be ranked 3rd next year

imagine if iPhone use punch hole.

All notch haters will be gone.

Apple will be the Top vendor for decades.

Sold is more important than shipments.

I dont think this is due to the strength of the Iphone 13 but the fact that the Iphone 11 has dropped to under £500.

Apple is (slowly) losing dominance in sales. What you should retain is in 2020 Q4 the difference between 1st and 2nd place was 6%! In 2021 Q4 the difference is only 2%! And Q4 is the strong quarter for Apple. So it means that 2020 to 2021 they lost steam in the sales.
Going like this, 2022/2023 probably Apple is being overtaken in all quarters including Q4...
They need to do big in the next iPhone 14.
