Maro, 19 Jan 2022Well i am currently running a Wifi 6 mesh network and i can... moreThat’s the thing about progress. You might have thought the same 10 years ago when you had state-of-the-art shit back then as well.

WiFi 6 chipsets should become more available in WiFi security cameras and other device.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2022How much % have wifi 6 routers? Single digit probably Most people who play online games, which is the majority of developed world?

Personally i would like lower latency than ultra super speeds.

Wifi 6 is plenty fast already when paired with 1gbs fiber or 5g.

Wifi 6 itself is in the nascent stage, adoption wise and Wifi 7 is already here. High speed internet also should become available and affordable, for the mass adoption of Wifi 6 and 7.
Btw, is this the reason, Wifi Alliance will not approve Wifi 7 till 2024 ?

Has...the Alliance said anything about this? Wifi 6e has only been out for a year so this seems too fast...

is this better than wifi 6e?

f, 19 Jan 2022be to be available 2025 just pathetic as usual Sure, doubling your speed in 5 years is pretty pathetic, sure you'd develop it in a lot less

I can also transfert 10 gb files under 1 min.

Its also very heavily used ( 8 wifi camera , 7 google home around the house , 4 smart tv and others devices )

I also use Geforce now and Google stadia game streaming with 0 issues even if we are doing tons of others stuff.

So this is not really needed.

This is not meant for current slow internet (6G might benefit from it though)

Imagine turning your home to a local cloud, meaning you can install OS remotely, gaming, streaming and doing the works for all the family on ANY device be it a tablet or even a smartphone connected to only 1 PC/Server through reliable and fast WiFi 7!

That's why we need faster wireless lan so when copying files it's like copying it on the device itself as fast as SSD can take. We can do that now with current wireless solution but it's slow and unreliable even for copying files let alone gaming and streaming highest definition videos.
