IpsDisplay, 20 Jan 2022Gimmicky...Yes, they only appeal to nostalgia and people who like cute-sy things.
Mediocre battery life, questionable durability of these clamshell folding screens (a quick search on the G-o-o-g-l-e reveals there's already a number of reports of sponteneous cracking screens just from a few weeks of normal use) are pretty much what you'd expect from these folding clamshell phones.

TBH, these foldable flip phones are gimmicky at best. They only appeal to people who want nostalgia.
Battery life is mediocre at best and piss poor if you keep the high refresh rate on. My cousin's Z Flip 3 barely lasts half a day under normal use with like only 6 hours S-O-T on WiFi (not even on data).
And don't get me started on the durability on these folding screens, just go a quick Google search and you'll see quite a number of reports of cracking Z Flip 3 screens just a few weeks from purchase from normal use.
