I have that one from boost it looks the same ,I wonder why they keep charging more than android the monthly fee ,if we now can make the same things or more with android phones I agree must be expensive if we can do a lot more but is not the case .

Your assumption that bb OS 7.1 is old is of course your personal opinion. I use bb torch 9860 and I love the os. And still one of the greatest smartphone anywhere in the world.

I knew that the blackberry 9300 is using an O.S 6 but if you do HYBRID it, you can make it 0S 7.1 :p, what i mean is, Blackberry 9315 is still has an O.S 7.1 itself , and i haven't seen any difference . it looks like Blackberry 9320 too. :P much better if they make a blackberry 9315 with a front cam XD

Slim, 04 Jan 2013Yon mention "archaic BlackBerry 7.1 OS". I have ... moreYes, well, what you just described *is* archaic.

If all mobile users were like you, then RIM might be leading the markets.
But as it turns out, people want dual/quad-core phones with massive displays and features like NFC and 1080p displays (GSIII and iPhone sales stand testimony to this).

There's nothing wrong with wanting a phone " that just works", but that's not the majority.

it depends on who you're (personal use / enterprise use) and the work server you're attaching (BES 5 or the future BES 10). there're still demands for BB 7.1 as many enterprises won't move to BES 10 immediately.
                  and, it's cheap!

Or they just wanna get rid of all the OS7.X stock..

Message to RIM if ever they read these comments : Your webbrowser is the crappiest of them all i usally use opera please make sure you give us a reliable browser on BB10.

It's a god thing we have a choice from entry level to high end Blackberry phones. Not all people need all those apps / features to get things done. Some prefer the basic Blackberry phones which offers the same level of security which RIM offers to their high end phones.

Not all pleople are fortunate to buy every high end phones in the market, think about it.

If os 10 is not truly revolutionary, RiM will prove itself stupid indeed.

Yon mention "archaic BlackBerry 7.1 OS". I have 2 BB9900, one for me, and one for my wife. Never a problem after set up. They work. I dont want a large mobile, with 10,000 ways to set up widgets. Who cares. We travel a lots as semi retired. Just want emails and BBM's wifi, hardly go on the net. Dont play games, have a decent Cannon camera. I just want the mobile to work. Cant be bothered farting around with setting up widgets. I really enjoy my life, which means I don want to waste time.

My BB Curve 9300 rubberised body already starts pealing off, volume rocker is damaged, soon dedicated camera button, all I can said is never a BlackBerry in future.

With all the new phone out now, I cant imagine someone doing a phone in which the camera is 3.2 mp. I believe that rim is confused.

This is just the existing Curve 9320 rebadged for T-Mobile. Nothing to see here, next!
