this is not an odd move, RIM's stocks are going to go down like crazy this phone is out so smart investors can go and grab everything at extreme low rates then with the release of bb 10 stocks will explode meaning a huge profit.

As soneone else pointed out, this really IS the best example of flogging a dead horse.
People might just start to feel sorry for RIM now and buy their stupid 7.1 phones out of sympathy.
