Watkins, 28 Jan 2022Exactly why I haven't bought a Samsung device since th... moreGreat, someone always complaining about something

Anonymous, 27 Jan 20223700mah was once big but even the 4500mah in the s22 plus w... moreBro did you listen to what I said? The S22 is a lot smaller than Samsung midrangers A52s and M52 i.e. 6.1 inch to 6.5. AND it has wireless charging and a vastly more powerful (and thus more cooling space needed) chip. There is no way that it has enough space to fit 4500 mAh of A52s. The whole idea is that you can't fit everything in such a small chassis.
You're right. Putting 4500 mAh in S22 Plus is good, and it is only possible because the S22 is 6.5 inches. If the S22 plus was 6.1 inches like S22, then 4500 wouldn't be possible, maybe only a 3800.

Anonymous, 27 Jan 2022You mean like being 7.8 or 8mm thick vs 7.6? Wow what a hug... moreI'm not defending companies, not without reason anyways. I'm just saying you can't have everything at once. Also, if you want to discuss about 1080p vs 1440p, I will talk about it, but later, as changing resolution or removing charger in the box does not take up space (in the phone).
Anyways, Exynos 2200 is more power hungry than 2100 AND the S22 has a smaller 6.1 inch screen. So, it makes sense to have space for a smaller battery. But I will admit that it could still be a bit bigger, like 3800 or 3850.

Once again.. the standard S22 will suffer from short battery life just like s20 and s21. I wish they could add hight capacity battery in vanila models.

If I need 512gb why do I have to suffer the curved display of the S22 ultra ???

Why is Samsung only following Apple's stupid decisions and not their good ones ?

And I think you do agree with the points I raised. It's just that you have a personal and subjective preference for your devices shape. That is fine. But that only applies to you as an individual, and not in-general to other people.

Maybe try looking at it from this perspective:
                      - every 19:9 phone, is basically the same as a 16:9 phone, but you are adding extra size to where the earpiece is. So you've actually made the phone larger, which is a bad thing, when we think about fingers and pockets. Remember, a regular video will show fullscreen on 16:9 and it will be the same size on a 19:9 phone, but with black bars/letterboxing on the sides. It is basically Bezel, dropping the

                      There's also this perspective:
If you travel a lot (taxi, bus, train, plane, boat) and watching movies is high on your activities, then you will also get fullscreen on 21:9 phone. But on every 19:9 phone, you will get a smaller image, as you get black bars/letterboxing on the top and bottom. Think of this as Bezel. Which means your phone is larger than it needs to be, again bad, we have to remember about fingers and pockets when thinking of a "mobile" phone.

Side note: If the extra size/bezel of a 19:9 phone meant we get more space for more features (Headphone Jack, microSD, Notably Bigger Battery, Durability, or Internal Modularity for better servicing). In that case, yes, there would be grounds to accept the compromise. I would probably have the same preference as you. However, this doesn't seem to be true, when looking at actual products.

Samsung is wanna be Apple every year they are increasing their price and selling their phones without earphones and adapter. The reason I chose Samsung over Apple because they were giving earphones adapter and sd card slot but since Samsung wants to be Apple of Android and if I want to buy that much high price phone then I would buy Apple. Whatever Apple is their ios is better and their phone last much longer then Samsung cheap phones.

kisfiu, 27 Jan 2022Better stop with jokes. "No sd no buy" what was l... moreso 2019? well worked in 2019 still needed in 2023 - Samsung are not Apple/iCloud never will be - if i wanted Cloud storage i will buy a better device and if the camera improvement and "Note" like features is coming well you need an SD, not always able to access remote storage say abroad, out of range, data etc also portability, costs of storage etc etc there are many many benefits - so sorry i am 2019 because i buy features and functionality - SD is a no-brain it makes no sense when it shares a dual SIM to take it away.
Not just SD but Samsung has forgotten what made it different and a leader - no sense of direction hence so many phones now - they are going down the pan fast only just propped up by the lack of major innovation at Apple without Steve Jobs - there will be a new kid on the block soon!

Anonymous, 27 Jan 2022some of us want a phone, not a tv remoteFunny, because Z Fold 3 when folded have very similar size to 5ii.
Bit lower than 16cm, bit narrower than 7cm.

I was looking forward to getting the base S22, but I'm not too sure now. Specially because the colours don't look too appealing. I was really hoping they would bring the purple and gold from the S21, but let's see. Maybe it'll look better in person.
