The constantly overrated Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra also suffer from overheating problem because of the chipset. So much for "irrelevant". 😂🤣

          Anonymous, 27 Jan 2022You want high end phones from 2022 to have 2020 cpu? LOL !!! In Qualcomm's case, I definitely would. 865/865+/870 remains the best flagship-grade chipset to date with little to no overheating issues. Also, 865 is still good enough for most people in 2022 and beyond.

          P.S: Btw, 870 was launched in 2021.

              To be fair, Genshin Impact do heat up phones badly. What is not mentioned here is the settings of Genshin Impact used to test. If running at highest settings at 60FPS & it remains cool, then I will be interested.

                      To get a good gaming experience without thermal throttling on a snapdragon 8 gen 1 you need to have a groundbreaking cooling solution. Hope nubia will provide just that.

Look at all the tests done by golden reviewer. 10 min and the motorola with 8 gen 1 got to 48c. Makes sense companies test out with something much more popular than emulators. Theres no way this thing is as cool as it claims to be tho.

                                      it heats up my phone very much, though, up to 48 degrees Celsius. as a reference, I'm playing using the ROG Phone 2 without the active cooler

                                        If I'm going to test the phone or battery temperature using mobile gaming, I won't be using Genshin Impact. I'd be using a PS2 or 3DS emulator instead. Those require some serious firepower to run steadily smooth.
