No, our Android app doesn't contain a virus - it's a false positive

Gsmarena app is not the virus, AVG is the virus, antivirus in android is useless, play store keeps track of malicious apps

I have Mcafee security and it never gave me these warnings unless mcafee is much accurate than the others. Idk.

I have AVG and it happened to me too but I never thought it was an issue or for me to be concerned about it. All antiviruses do the same thing to protect us even if it's just a false-positive action. I've been a GSMArena fan for about 5 years now and I never had a problem. I'm glad you guys solved the issue. Keep up the great work!

There is no virus in this app, as I have used GSM arena on my phones for years.
Keep up the good work.

I can't believe people are leaving one star reviews because of this. How do these people function in day to day life?

The real solution here is to remove AVG. You don't need that crap on your phone.
