And, of course, freedom of choice is essential. Nuremberg code has been put in place because the establishment have been done horrible things at the protection of law. A very wrong law.

So wash your hands, use a mask whe... more1st booster shot with mRNA vaccine has around 80% efficacy against Omicron variant. mRNA without is apparently some 20-30%. Still, being vaccinated at all means chances of easier form of COVID are much more likely than severe one. Vaccination doesn't necessarily mean prevention. You can still get infected, but it makes it les likely as COVID has harder time binding to your cells as well as harder time spreading because body will start harassing it much faster than if you aren't vaccinated at all and it's just cooking inside you until it explodes.

Now, those vaccines, well, enough data is out to show they dont prevent infection, and I honestly dont think it prevents critical cases that much either. Two persons I know got the vaccine and all, and they still developed critical symptoms. So, YMMV.
And that's without talking about the side effects in the long term.

If you have a family member who had severe COVID and lungs got so damaged and requires oxygen at home even 3 months afterwards, you would not like to entertain these half measures to prevent misinformation from spreading. We also believed what was there on the social media about COVID and we ignored all the precautions. Now looking back if we had been more sensible we could have prevented what happened to my loved one. We were stupid. So this is not a joke guys. This thing is real and it kills and can cause lots of suffering.
