When I first got my Mi 11 Ultra - After everything was installed there was approximately 231 GB free out of 256 GB --- After upgrading to MIUI 12.5 - The total free space has been reduced drastically to 222 GB free... How can that be possible...?! I don't have any photos or videos stored in the phone... Just the basic apps. This is what happens when you have limited storage capacity in the phone... These people are insane to not include micro SD card support.

Champak, 03 Feb 2022These so called RAM and Battery optimizations kill function... moreNo they're not.
The default battery optimization is the same as google.
Apps allowed in the background memory.

but in xiaomi, I can set many apps NOT to be able to run in background.
I do this on many membership apps like supermarket, restaurant, etc.
so, it won't consume my battery.

This is ONE of the key feature in Xiaomi & Non-Google Android that I loved the most.

Are you just talking and guessing?
Because it all are much better vs ½ year ago.

And Samsung perfect errr no way, i had the S21 ultra and still have the Tab S7 and to be honest, not that good in updates.

Pumpino, 03 Feb 2022The Chinese companies likes Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme and Viv... moreWhat bug?
I'm using Poco X3 GT with MiUI 12.5 and I'm very happy.

The Chinese companies likes Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme and Vivo (Oppo isn't too bad) are getting worse with updates, while Samsung is updating its phones with Android 12 and security patches at lightning speed. It's ironic, as many MIUI 12.5 users are unhappy with the ongoing bugs, but rather than fix them, Xiaomi just releases a new version, which may or may not resolve these bugs (and will likely introduce new bugs).
