and i agree with the point that MP has nth to do with image quality. I always wonder when they will and why they havent tried installing a CCD instead of cheapass CMOS into their phones just like how vodafone 903/904/910SH used to do....

Nokia started the 5 mega-pixel boom so Sony Ericsson i hope
will now start the 8 mega one,Nokia shocked the others with the N95 but now they have lost out,so a company like Nokia will be very angry as they were losing out with the Touch screen mobiles an i bet they were working on that mobile,but now will have to create another mobile to compete with the C905 but they announced the N96 ages ago but still no sight of this mobile on the market which as been a big mistake by Nokia an the C905 might be released by Sony Ericsson early or on the same date as the N96 to cut down the sales of the N96 a show Nokia up

Ok, everybody, now PAY ATTENTION!!!!
The Megapixels count doesn´t make the good quality on pictures. The more megapixels you have the bigger picture you'll have without having to stretch out the pic. So, you will only see this when are about to print out you pictures. On your pc monitor you won't notice the difference between a 3mpx vs 8mpx.
And for your info what makes good pictures is the Optics, Lens & Image Sensor.
Why do you think that Nokia uses Carl Zeiss Optics with Tessar Lens???? Because those are 1 of the best optics in the world for cameras. (Not the Best but 1 of the best)
If you really know about photography you will know what I'm talking about. That's why I don't get excited about 8Mpx if SE will use crappy sensors, lens and optics. (like K850, C902)
Let´s wait until this comes out and let's see a few reviews done the the webpages that we trust and then judge.
Not a Nokia fan boy but if this cellphone uses the same optics as K850, C902 it's gonna be the same crap as those 2 mentioned before. And N95 & N82 will still have a better picture quality than this.

Actually, the pictures are not that good to be claimed as being taken by a dedicated digital camera.

market share is different from having the best phone.
with the announcement of this phone, SE is clearly on top way ahead of the other competition.

I wanted a good non-smartphone that has wifi and gps. The C905 could be it. I like the user interface and plus it got the walkman player.

There's tons of features in this phone that worth buying. QVGA video? So What! It's not like you want to buy a phone just "because you wanted to record videos. You better get a handycam than a phone!
This C905 is the reason why you must Try SE.
8MP is Bad? Why don't you check the latest photos capture by this Phone? See it for yourself!

by that logic you are using it would be better of to buy a dedicated digi cam for photos...which of course...is a hassle if you buy these things individually
what makes this phone superior than the n95/n96?
higher resolution photos yes but other than that? nothing more
even the picture quality couldnt better than what the n95 produces...
n95 is a smartphone, is faster and has video card to prove it does more since it has HCSD...c905 has nothing other than bigger picture resolution

New photos updated to the GSMerena are really good. Camera is really good. Another so many features…………
