All pointless phones. No one will buy a phone purely for its games other than a 10 year old who won't have the money to buy a phone. People are moving forward with mobiles and aren't just simply looking for a megapixel count on a camera and a MP3 and bluetooth. No consumers are no smarter. The camera quality is awful anyway on the 8MP phone as I have used one courtesy of SE aus. For me I will put my money into a digital camera, and an iphone. SE + Nokia fan... You picked the two worst brands to like. Samsung are far better quality and it is Nokia which make mass produced crap. SE good for batteries...

Anonymous, 17 Jun 2008shut up!!!! it was sad the first day when we saw the pictu... moreim sorry to disappoint u n other fellas (like eternal_wind, paker) who believe dat C905 can do such, but Sony Ericsson C905 is not capable of recording VGA resolution videos @ 30fps

              http://developer.sonyericsson.com/site/global/docstools/phonespecs/p_phonespecs.jsp

(and click C905 white paper, den go to pages 7 & 42)

dat link s a more solid proof (than wat d community at esato r saying) straight from d official sony ericsson developer website

hence, people should refrain from claiming dat C905 can record VGA 30 fps videos bcoz in reality, it's not in SE C905's vocubalary. besides, SE would've highlighted these feature in their press release f it s really capable, unfortunately - Sony Ericsson didn't, reason...

              read:
              Sony Ericsson C905 only supports QVGA (320 x 240) size video recording @ 30fps

i know dat white papers wil b published in several revisions, n additional info n facts wil be coming in those revisions. but based on my experience n as far as wat i know, Sony Ericsson never (yet) upgraded d video capture resolution of their current devices from wat dey initially publish on white papers

Why can't they just release a PSP phone? I'm sure some of us are willing to pay if they can manage to truly integrate them in a nice package rather than making a mid range phone.

This phone could have been sweet. The screen needs to be atleast 2.8". Maybe not vga because that might be asking for to much but at 2.8 you would definitely pull a lot of n95 users who don't really need a smartphone, like myself. I already gave up screen real estate for a better camera when I switched to an n82. Now I'd have to give up the smartphone as well just to get three extra megapixels I, nor anyone else will ever need. Lets face it, if you are actually taking pictures to make prints 8x10 or larger there is no way you would use a phone to do so. Disappointing.

Pardon my french, but are ya insane?
LG is just a bunch of knock off designs copycat and Samsung is a mass production low quality cheap made handsets.
                          Peace Out!

I'm a SE user myself, but frankly I'm getting increasingly disappointed at SE's recent performance. Their handsets never catch up the trend, not even to mention about leading it. And i hate it when i see bulky handsets with a tiny screen on it.

Y can't sony ericsson ditch that stupid charger/every accessory port they have and put in place something MUCH smaller like every other manufacturer? I've always loved their phones but i hate having that gigantic port so much that I had to change back to my other favourite handset maker (NOKIA!!!!)

I've contacted SE. No phones were used by anybody, ONLY THE TESTING TEAM WITHIN SE COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!! They don't confirm that it has VGA 30fps either.
