Both the Galaxy and Apple's garbage phone X can't compete with Pixel on any feature level and never will, I can laugh you Apple fanboys constantly whining at no innovation Apple about playing catch-up 🤣 there isn't a phone on the market today that can out AI the Pixel and you know it, funny having two over expensive lazy trash phones that do absolutely nothing for it's user.

Anonymous, 05 Feb 2022EU BUYERS BEWARE: Pixel 6 phones 5G capabilities are not... moreTrue, 5G won't work outside the counties the Pixels are officially sold (at least for now).
I knew that and yet I consciously bought one in Poland. Don't mind this fact, the infrastructure for 5G here is lacking, being on the border between 4G and 5G connectivity must suck terribly (with the phone constantly scanning and switching network mode) and I don't particularly need the higher transfer speeds.
On the upside I think the battery should last much longer on 4G (Pixel 6 has an external 5G modem AFAIR). So for me its a good deal NOT to have 5G.

But somehow there is this large amount of hyper-aggressive posters hugely overblowing any issues the new Pixels might have and recommending different phones.
Somehow most of them are anonymous too - for some odd reason...

I do find that suspicious, yes. Particularly that I'm very happy with my specimen.

No company in history has ever prioritized themselves and abused their customers to the point where a single startup can take it all away.

-Windows 10 users during the early days of Windows 10 probably.

Although I do like the designs of the latest Pixel phones such as the pixel 6 and certainly the 4a 5G, 5 and 5a 5G ones because of their simpeler designs and plastic bodies (not a fan of glass sandwich designs as you need to hide it in ugly cases) and I'm a real fan of the stock Android (or Android as intended by Google as they say) I would never buy a pixel phone before it's at least two years on the market. Why? Google sucks at launching products that are not infested with bugs and other issues. It always takes them ages to finally have hardware and software that works as intended. I'm still amazed that we, customers, allow all these big boys to sell stuff that is close to rip-off by buying their beita/unfinished stuff. Yes, other OEMs have similar issues but they, most of the time, try to use the lessons learned and do better next time. Google however just does it every single time with every single device they sell. And the worst is that they deny it even harder than archrival Apple who invented deniability when it comes to recognize stuff is wrong. Again, other OEMs do this as well but smaller ones don't have the manpower to quickly gather the intel and come out with a statement. Players such as Google, Apple, Samsung and a bunch of established Chinese brands have more than enough manpower to deliver a decent product from start and most important, recognize quickly that something can go wrong, regardless of the invested energy, effort and money, and act upon it. They don't...

It would be interesting to know the ratio of people who use anything gewgle and people who wear a mask who aren't in an operating theatre.

                                        EU BUYERS BEWARE:

Pixel 6 phones 5G capabilities are not guaranteed to work everywhere in EU. Google has blocked the 5G of all the Pixel 6 devices only for the regions they are sold into. So even if you are part of the Union and using a 5G with your old phone, you will probably be out of luck with Pixel 6.
