If yall gonna do outwards just do what microsoft does with duo. Real glass not fake glass. All you have to do is have 2 screens separated just like duo. Even better since itll resist scratches and cracks more than sticker display.

    Sure, let's put it the most fragile part of the phone, the most things that make phone usable outside of the phone, day to day dealing with touching, brushing, or hitting any object in the outside world? Seems like GOOD idea! Whoever has this idea is insane and lunatic.

      I like this design to ignore selfie cam cutouts.
      And outward folding designs are so much better looking and UI, only screen protection is question yet. Think they will soon introduce spare foldable screen protectors that will solve the problem for 99% of times

            zaryan, 07 Feb 2022doesn't it kills the safety of display Compared to those who fold inward (meaning tightly), you can have a more rigid display here, and a more rigid display would be better than a more flexible one in terms of scratch resistance, and it won't really change much from regular smartphones when "unfliped" anyway.

                At the time flip phones were a thing, the display found on phones were quite robust and didn't need extra protection.

                      Hmmm.
                      Huawei mate first edition was like this.
                      Dontwant to be rude but flexible glass is made from plastic othervise it breaks easily.
                      And outward plastic screen means huge damage since fall from maybe 0,5 meters or even less. Also i wonder how many folds will survive this kind of phone until the hinge gets weakened and another question is why to make this if the previous models were a lot better also a lot more beautifull. Razr was it is and for a long time it will be the most beautifully crafted and designed foldig phone.
                      So why???
