The s22 won't have a quad hd screen, an LTPO screen, and periscope zoom.... next to a discounted ultra from last year they are a hard sell, unless you care about an extra year of update of course. so it makes sense to discontinue it.

YOU DON'T EVEN OWN A COMPUTER.🤣🤣 You're just clueless about it and your description is far away from actual point.
I ask a simple question and you just redirected it to elsewhere again.

Don't mind losing 4GB of RAM for better performance. I checked my usage schedule of RAM. and I barely crossed 7.7/12GB anyway.
So assuming Snapdragon S22 comes to Emea. I'm grabbing the S22 Ultra. Otherwise. Hello~ Sony!

BrianCoriour, 07 Feb 2022S21 ultra looks better than s22 ultra prove me wrong GO!Agreed wholesomely. Just need the S-PEN slot. and it's perfect.

Well... it appears phablets lovers would be forced getting the S22 Ultra if they want super large phones... if they want the best possible and big AND samsung.

Don't get into a t**ade about how I shouldn't ask for better specs that I will pay for because you don't need it. That's f***ed up in more ways than one. Not to mention having the chutzpah to ask me to explain to you what I need better specs for. Seriously, the level of n**cissism, ego, and self-importance that motivates a person to ask that boggles the mind.

Let me get my 18GB/1TB configuration while you get your 8GB/128GB configuration. How does that sound?

It's interesting how these folks say choice is always a good thing, until your choice is different from theirs, then they have to go on a m***nic crusade to convince themselves they're making the superior choice. Talk about first-class d**chebaggery!

Get what you need. It's that simple. Prosumers like myself are only asking for better specs that we are willing to pay for. If you think it's overkill; well, what do you know; there are still phones with 6-8GB RAM and 64-128 GB of storage. They're relatively affordable now. You have the choice. Get that. I'm not stopping you.

Don't get into a tirade about how I shouldn't ask for better specs that I will pay for because you don't need it. That's f*cked up in more ways than one. If a consumer grade video card needs discrete 24GB of RAM exclusively for video; WTF do you think 16GB of system RAM is good enough for 4K gaming? At what refresh rate anyway?

For reference, the Mac Pro is configurable with up to 768 GB of RAM (used to be up to 1.5TB, but anyone who needs that would need a larger form factor that the Mac Pro chassis) and TWO Radeon Pros with 64 GB of VRAM each.

I got the 128GB RAM with RTX 3090 because that serves me fine for domestic use. But for work projects in many A-list studios and labs, machines have to be beefier.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Data science, 3D and animation rendering, video post-processing, programming compilations. Those use-cases require as much RAM as you can make available to cut runtime. Time is money: I'm not spending 6 hours waiting for a render to finish processing when a one-time investment in more RAM will save me 30-50%+ time.

Talk about AR, VR, and MR development; modeling; engineering; and prosumer-grade machines don't cut it. You'll need a workstation with specialized hardware.

Of course, all of this is news to you because you think you know it all. You don't. Someone else's capabilities and skillset start where yours ends.

I can bet my hat you haven't been part of any computing-intensive citizen research project. Your hubris knows no limits.
