The EU wouldn't be able to ban it across Europe as not all countries in Europe are in the EU. Anyway, ban it I stopped using Instagram and rarely go on Facebook now.

Let's hope it will become reality.
All services from Meta need to be cancel. And i mean ALL ! WhatsApp isn't safe anymore also.

Good riddance Mr Zuckerberg. The younger generations have already left Facebook for other platforms. Time for you to understand that the security of 450 million EU citizens is more important than you earning another billion.

I agree with this decision, although I use Messenger for most of the time and a lot of groups on Facebook are very useful, it would simply ve a breath of fresh air without fb or insta. We all lived better before them and will certainly adapt to live again without them

I feel like i comment too much but this made me think. If Europe and China can't use Facebook it's about 1/3 of the world if not more than that... will others follow the transition slowly? That's like worst thing for meta. Also they investing so heavily in metaverse ...
