Android can do this, too, they just need to creat an app for it. You already add credit cards to google pay by tapping them on your phone, no reason to not use it for POS.

Why not just scan the qr code to send money like gpay/upi in india. Why do you want to make it tap

UPI is the best cashless transaction service in my opinion.
Its Fast, convenient & Secure.
India has highest share in Global Digital Transaction & its credit goes to UPI system.
Just by scanning a QR code/Mobile number/Unique UPI ID of the beneficiary,Anyone,anywhere can send money to other person within 1 minute.
I wonder why other countries haven't adopted this brilliant system.
But its "America-The empire of big tech" & they don't like such ideas.
