Latest stock android is already better than any of these lame skins. Amazing why the companies actually spend development dollars to devalue their product.

Well by the time I'll need a new phone, ColorOS will already be on OnePlus phones so unless Oppo COMPLETELY overhauls how it is, I'll have to move away from OP because zero updates and virtually no software support is a big no no for me

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2022Expect another iOS copycat UI. Sadly. More toxicity in the cellphone market. 1st data thief is Oppo and 2nd is OnePlus. Combination would be deadly for data theft purposes

oppo gaming stability is quite good but it it throttled quite much iwith cos 12 and find x2 pro, it's like they limiting the phone but the phone is using 865 instead of 888

I switched to Pixel a couple years back because all the skins are trashy. For a while I was finding value for money phones, but the OS always makes all non Google phones way more trouble than it's worth. A good custom ROM can make them usable, but most phones will have you waiting on that for a while. My Redmi Note 7 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 8 SE had better custom ROM support than the newer and more expensive Xiaomi phones I bought. I rather just buy the better experience out of the box now.

Only decent Android skin left is on Samsung now and thats way too bloated. At least they update though.

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2022Google, Samsung, Sony, Htc, Motorola, Asus do not have iOS ... moreNo thanks. Why go for iPhones when Android does most of the things better than iPhones for a third of price. It doesn't mean that I'm poor. I'm just not interested in that overpriced fruit logo showoff. If ever I spend big money for a phone, it'll be the galaxy fold

If you claim that EMUI, ColorOS and MIUI look like iOS, then you may just as well claim that all of the companies you listed also have iOS-like skins as well. All companies' custom skins still retain the "Android" look and feel for the most part, but even the stock Android has many UI elements clearly inspired by those found on iOS. And here I'm just saying that ColorOS still resembles other Android skins more than it does iOS.
