That Android One means jack sht, the same as with some Nokia models. Motorola are terrible in software support, probably the worst among all popular mobile brands. They offer quartal software updates, not every month like others have. Only those generic models from Blackview, Vivax, Oukitel and others are worse than Motorola in that regard because they don't have any software updates at all.
But I'm glad that they noticed how software updates and new Android versions are important for some people. I hope they'll work on that for the future devices.
