Is no one gonna talk about the symmetrically-sized bezels all around in both Galaxy S22 & S22+? I remember Apple having a hold over that specific detail (there is a patent of some sorts) which prohibits other manufacturers from doing the same, hence the majority of Android phones with a "chin"... 🤔🤔
Kinda stupid for Apple to do if you ask me.

No autofocus in the ultra wide camera is a deal breaker, at least for me :_ I hope it really, as I love a compact premium phone.

As we progress, storage should also increase. Why stop at 256GB w/o expandable option? Having 512 and 1T storage option is a must w/o expandable storage IMO.
Cloud storage is expensive and imagine the monthly recurring subscription fees for just another 256GB. Add more salt to the would is the syncing/uploading to cloud via wifi is sloooowwww~
3.5mm jack is also a must. BT wireless signal break ups is terrible whether you're listening to music or making calls. Wired earphones with mic have no such problems in a BT crowded area, like a cafe or shopping mall or office for eg.
So much shortcomings for a "flagship". If not for the above negatives, the basic S22 ticks all my boxes.

I used to be a glass sandwich hater but I still would put a case on plastic backed phones, so truly what difference does it make? Plenty of people prefer glass backs on their premium phones though, me included. What I miss is leather backs on smartphones, the LG G4 is still super nice to hold even today in my opinion

Galaxy S22 is a decent size. Only 146 mm in height and 70 mm in width. Basically the same size as a regular iPhone 12 and 13. Too bad I'm no longer into slabs but that's a nice size.
I still do dream of Sony making a proper successor to their XZ1 Compact. Not into getting another iPhone 12 mini again or 13 mini. I can't stand iOS, Face ID, and even the touch gestures.

The 64 megapixel Bayer solution would have been better. There is no raw converter that can handle Quad Bayer high resolution raw files well and I doubt that the S22 will offer 50 megapixel raw files.

Pocket cameras are metal body, those entry micro 4/3 and apsc are magnesium alloy ( xperia pro as well)
