Are you happy to see the Note return - so happy that you may buy an S22 Ultra? Or do the two smaller models look better?

i think the premium phones are overpriced in general . yesterday i pre-ordered Samsung s22 ultra white color because i got a great deal to trade my s9+ and pay 75% of it's price . if i got the same deal with other premium phones i would still pick the s22 ultra

Hello Life, 14 Feb 2022No.. wrong informationIt's information for actual humans. 700 dpi is technical maximum with ideal eyesight at 30cm distance. Most people don't have that kind of sight and other majority simply doesn't care. Especially when processing more pixels for no actual benefit just means higher battery draining. Been there, seen that when I had phone with 1080p display and it was smaller than my current one. Now I'm on larger display with 820p and I couldn't care any less about resolution.

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2022More like 450 dpi actually...No.. wrong information

HatersGonnaHate, 13 Feb 2022Guess what? Your eyes won't even notice the difference... moreHuman eye sight can detect upto 700+ DPI.. the average being the 600+ range at 30cm distance.. A bit closer.. you can notice even higher.. Moreover I have a device which can switch to FHD and QHD.. and despite the 30-45mins screen on time advantage I choose to stay at QHD.. ANd I have chosen this for 7 years now.. If you go to QHD from FHD.. you wont find the difference easily.. but after using QHD for 7 long years.. FHD is easily noticeable

iPhones are great devices, however boring.
Samsung has a more featured rich experience

As far as samsung is reluctant to provide snapdragon processor in India I will not buy any samsung flagship as their home grown processor is poor in terms of performance and here in India we do not get samsung phones as discounted prices. I think lot of many readers may agree to what I said

                The Positives:
                - The S22 Ultra looks like a Note and I love that
                - S Pen for the Ultra
                - Beautiful Display
                - New Snapdragon 8 Gen chipset

                The Negatives
                - No charging brick (why are Samsung copying Apple here???)
                - Exynos for the Europeans. Why???????
                - The 8GB model of the Ultra is at the same price as the 12GB of last year
                - The prices are ridiculous

Nothing too impressive here - unless you care about the S Pen. Very overpriced devices, especially S22+ and S22. I also really dislike the rectangular shape of the Ultra. Just my opinion.

You people must must must give 3.5 mm jack, Radio, Stylus, NFC & 12 color notification LED in S and Note catagory phones apart from present features. It should not happen that: you people start saying Flagship phones doesn't have these features, as far as my opinion is concerned, flagship only have these features first. It should not be a disabled phone. I hope you got my points.

i dont see dc dimming and 10 bit display feature, they should also included this as other brand already implementing it since 2020

                          Fun fact :
s22+ get the vision booster and the same cooling system as s22 ultra which is great, the vision booster basically is HDR 10+ on screen content instead of video hdr10+ only, it should better than rog + one plus series with dedicated software from pixel works which only adjust sdr to hdr like standard hdr

the cooling system is also great it may lose to those huge VC from xiaomi, oppo, nubia, etc but it still a major upgrade compared to those s21 and s20 series without proper cooling solution and the newest benchmark said it put up quite a big performance which is great

Vegetaholic, 14 Feb 2022Samsung is new Apple and you should stay away from it. Came... moreBuddy, you're saying non-sense. None of what you're saying is true. There are improvements in every aspect (they are small, but still improvements). It's not 2010 anymore when devices improved by leaps even 3 months between them. The innovation is now slower, we all know that, but nothing is getting worse by the year. There hasn't been almost any plastic on the Galaxy S series since the S6. And for the last 3 years prices actually dropped slightly because as we all know the competition is immense. So please don't spread BS, people can call you out on lies easily because everything can be verified fast.

They got it all wrong and I don't know why. 1) Why all the top features in just one humongous device? All the S22 ultra stuff should be in a smaller device too. Then the regular s22 & s22+ could be the same way they are now, but for a LOWER price. Seriously, the S22+ is an ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED EURO (=$1244!) device with a 1080p screen, no SD slot, no jack, no charger, no led, is this serious? That is an incredible amount of money for a brick. 2) Lower RAM in the Ultra than the S21 for the same price? No, thanks. 3) Smaller batteries for the S22 & S22+? Why? The newer displays and processor could result in a decent battery life if they kept the previous generation capacities. But no, they reduced them... For all of the above reasons, I voted that I would choose an S21 series device.

no android brand is brave enough to stand against iphone13pro except samsung. s22 is a true competitor. I would never consider a bigger size if there is a solid option.

The Flip, 14 Feb 2022A curved display on the S22 Ultra was definitely not a good... morea curved display was and is anyway a big bullshit idea, for all smartphone suppliers, just wastes screen space, all of them should rather focus on bigger replaceable batteries... and more energy efficency...!!!!

I really wanted to upgrade my phone to the latest Note, but there are some things I can't overlook and therefore I will switch to Sony.
                                        - no SD card slot = NO BUY! (most important for me)
                                        - no 3.5mm jack
                                        - no stainless steel frame
                                        - no headphones/charger in the box
What's next? Locked bootloader? Bye-bye Samsung!
                                        Hello Sony!
