If you don't want your Android to look like Apple, don't buy the one that specially aim to take design que from Apple.

Google's approach is very civilised. There are tons of bugs to fixed with Android 12, just look at the reports on reddit pixel sub but totally oblivious of that fact they are now busy with Android 13. Clowns.

I noticed quite a lot of initial bug reports coming through for the S ranges that are compatible with Android 12.
Strangely my A52s didn't show any issues.
I use to try help people on the forums, especially over the lockdown periods , etc
Even though my main driver at the moment is the iPhone, I tend not to visit that forum much.
Doesn't seem as involved as the Samsung one with it's photography section.
I've not used custom ROMs in years, last one was on my Samsung S3 and S5.

Are they kidding ? I'm afraid android has reached the peak point and they just releasing a new versions for marketing purpose only. I'm just hoping harmony is going to replace it or at least push it to do something meaningful in each new release of Android.

I had problems with 2 out of 3 Samsung phones: note 7 and S20 plus. I even had signal problems with my iPhone X's . All phones have software bugs , but GSMarena and others like to talk and report more about Google phones, because they get more clicks and comments (hate comments) from Samsung or Apple fans. I noticed that over the years.

Material U, should really put the focus on the user and let us change the colours, instead of trying to guess what the user would like. It is the wrong direction to customization.
