RIP BlackBerry. it's really shame that BlackBerry chickened out of the smartphone industry. In a short while BlackBerry phones will be forgotten for good.

BlackBerry should be ashamed of themselves.
Once an iconic company, System 7 is still the best email client and the best keyboard.
Not everybody wants to press a colored button with Like or Follow with Pavlovian excitement.
They could not even be bothered to offer a software update so it would work without B.I.S.
I go back as far as the 857 so do a lot of people.
BlackBerry thank loyal customers by pulling the plug.
Terrible indictment of the world we live in.

And Apple has never been a phone, they have always been a company.
I never show my iphone off, it's in a bag most of the time, gets taken out only when needed....with the god awful apple logo covered by a case.
But I still like my iphone befor people think I am bashing it.....but to me it's a tool not a status symbol.
Even BMW were a status symbol to some, but to others they were just a vehicle.
Gold jewelry is supposedly a status symbol yet almost anyone from any walk of life can own gold...it's just how you see things.
To be being able to go outside enjoy fresh air....is my status symbol....that I am alive

Not clear what would stop Onward Mobility releasing a midrange PKB Android.
It will not use the Blackberry name, so what.
Kevin knows just as little as you and me and is clearly trying to add some more life long subscribers to his sinking ship.
Let's hear from Adam etc. who at least signed the NDA!
