I'm glad I pre order on the first day. It's a no brainer with all the perks. It will last a long time with 4 years os update.

Also you must be trolling, did you just compared a fiat to a Ferrari, because I think you did. Are you seriously thinking that a 1080p based tablet holds a candle to LTPO 3k based tablet that is also having the best pen integration on Google OSes, one fourth of ram, same weight (despite the lower specs/smaller screen).
It's the difference between what netbooks were and a high end laptop (but in a tablet form).
Native Linux support is cool though, on Android you have to chroot for that.

It's debatable if it's a choice. Also, I doubt that anyone "wants" a cutout. Why would they want that? You want to look at it all day?

They are virtually the same device, everyone can choose if they prefer a larger screen with a tiny notch or a smaller screen with larger bezels. I really don't see a problem. So you are basically stuck with mobile Chrome and that's just the start. This device won't get 8 years of support like Chrome OS. It has plenty of RAM but we all know how bad Android is at using more than 12 GB of RAM. I can go on and on but what's the point? Google needs to pull the plug on Android for tablets and switch to Chrome OS. They have already wasted too many years on it.

Android 12L is tablet specific, the ipados version of Android.
Android is very much about tabs, Chrome OS is about those who like to interface with their machines like we live in the '90s still.
