But do... moreIndia needs a law that the point-of-sale/seller(gully store or mall or train ticket) is responsible for any defects in the products they sel and returable at POS. No running to service centers 50 km away. If too many products are returned or the seller has ro run around, then he will not keep/sell substandard products. As of now he only keeps products that give biggest comission and after sale forgets the customer.

My example is simple, a pen, a ballpoint pen made in there from a renowned brand keeps leaking ink when writing, which i never faced them before when i bought from different production countries from the same brand in past.

Promoting India and Indian products is a good thing. But do Indian manufacturers deserve to be trusted?
I will share my experience. To promote indianness I opted for Micromax phone 6 months back. They had promised 2 years updates and all. After first update in September, my phone started giving problems. Twice I had to send it to service centre. And as of today I have no new update. I message them on twitter and email, no response.
I have mi A1 since 2017 and till this day I have had no issues. Which Indian phone maker has developed such faith and trust like Chinese companies?
I am not at all supporting Chinese companies but which Indian manufacturers have provided us with trust and reliability?
We will not be self reliant by banning others but we rather focus on giving quality and developing trust amongst end users.

Before the Free Fire incident, this would be a way to block Chinese, but now blocking Singapporean, this move definately speaks trade wars against the other Asian countries.
If indians starts to block asians, it might be interesting how the other countries will answer.

BBK and Xiaomi employ around 50k Indians and is increasing each year. Indian politicians called for Chinese boycott from anger at the border confrontation with China, but behind all that 'nationalism' they have economic importance to continue working with China.
