Misha.85, 21 Feb 2022I wish you kept the 'is a lie' titleThat title is a lie. To claim that the 45w charger is a lie, you have to measure and prove that the charger does not output 45w.
To claim 45w charging in a device is a lie,
you have to measure and prove that the device is not pulling 45w from the charger or at least that the charger is not pulling as much power as it did for other phones sporting 45w.
That's the only proof. Otherwise you cannot claim its a lie.
The current title is only partially proven. They have shown it does not differ for 30 minute and above, but not below that. You cannot claim something until proven properly.

You didn't specify what brand and model AC adapter/charger you used for the 65W charging, or what brand and model USB cable you used for the testing. The whole article is about charging, so you've pretty much invalidated the whole article. The USB Forum specifications exist for a reason. If a cable or charger goes out that doesn't meet the specification, then it's not a "real" cable or charger. First verify that stuff, then you can determine whether or not the Samsung charging system is bad. Every single point along the charging system has to work or it'll become a bottleneck. If you're using an unbranded USB 2.0 cable with a USB-C connector that you got off of eBay and have had lying around for a couple of years, don't be surprised if it charges slowly.

Advertised refresh rate turned out to be a lie for S20/+, charging Watt turned out to be a lie. This has nothing to do with how many cycles is good for a battery or how often you charge or "fast charging is bad anyway" Just accept this is bad practice and stop being a fanboy. l'm still on S10 and most probably it will be my last Samsung phone.

Fast charging is bad for the battery. The faster you charge it, the more heat is produced. I have no need for fast charging since the phone will last me all day. My S21 lasted me all day, so I expect my S22 to last all day as well. Since its battery life is longer than the S21.

I mean if people buy a certain phone, is clearly that they buy it also with the heart (at least to some extent). Also, people will try to justify and defend their purchase. You can't dislike iPhones, but then go buy an iPhone 13 Pro Max, for example. That means you either a liar or you don't know what you want (not talking about you, talking in general).

Their not being negative. Just pointing out that 45W doesn't appear to add a whole lot of benefit. Saving 4 or 5 minutes is not worth it for the 45W. Hopefully, improvements will be made to this going forward.

What a dumb company
In the past Samsung charged premium for premium specs...always on top ...1440p in the S8 now down to 1080p in the S22/S22+
Now barely have 25W and 45W....8gb of Ram default like S10...

I really don't understand why even a system like "fanboyism" exists. Why be stuck with say Samsung if some other company has got better specs. There is a reason why "competition" exists. All the companies just try to convince a customer to buy their product. Fanboys just ruin that. They don't care about specs, just the company. I do realise the trust factor but this is just stupid. I literally go with whatever company is giving me the specs
