Gotta break it to you, but the days of iPhone being on top of the camera ranking are long over. Before, it was Huawei on top and then Xiaomi and currently it's Huawei again. I doubt any iPhone will ever come close even in top 3 again in 2022

      If they use Mi 11 ultra they will do a lot better video.
      Just saying.
      Apart from copy and paste apple still using many years old 12 mpix camera which is just pretty average compared to even most midrangers or low end devices such as Xiaomi redmi note 11 with its 50 Mpix camera for just 150 bucks.

        I would definitely use a phone which got best quality hi frame rate and super slo mo, to get the most out of this. Don't have ranking for that tho.

          I use to use ring lights, soft boxes, a multitude of lastolite reflectors and such, and all I was doing was location and studio photography, so I am guessing the pro film makers are way way more kitted out.
          I even use to use the lastolite reflectors at motor sport events or on nature shots.

          Obviously back then I had pro canon and nikon gear....but I am guessing the older kit could have been used on mobile cameras too.

          You're still going to be able to tell that a mobile was used for the filming , if you know what you're looking for.....but that doesn't mean the results can't look great.

            They should give half discount for young filmmakers, other wise it'sapple bs as usual

                Amusing short film. I was expecting it to be more violent if it was made by Oldboy director.

                  I'm interested to know what kind of accessories are used for that film. As far as I can remember, companies like Moment and Beastgrip always prioritize iPhones for their mobile lens and cages.

                      Apple is so full of shit its just ridiculous to watch them shoving their proffesional camera making capabilities to masses. Remove your Apple propaganda glasses people, No you CANNOT shoot any movie quality videos with any phone not even iPhone 13 pro. Its all gimmicks and BS as usual.
