I hope this SoC really comes to the S4 and N3, but a safer bet would be they'll sport an Exynos 5450, and that we'll see the Exynos 5 Octa 'til 2014.

the S series are just trend phones, and the s3, 95% of users don't use more than half of the phones potential, because the ones who afford it are kids with money with little to no interest in using the whole phone.
and about 2013, i think that if people open theire eyes, they will see that Xperia Z is a full package phone, with all the accesories it needs and is waterproof so you can take it for a swim.

I see that people crib about why samy is showing 8 cores wen whole world is with quad core and the same is more than sufficient? did any one think about bettering the battery? thatz wat samy wants to it with 8 cores! samy always think wat we need...great going...

Galaxy S1 : Samsung showed that they were serious about the android platform. Had the best CPU/screen at that time.
Galaxy S2 : Samsung sorted out the rough edges. The punchy CPU/GPU combo and the great screen demolished all the competition (Sensation & O2X). Was a soaring hit.
Galaxy S3 : Was an evolution of the S2. Better camera, higher res screen. A very good processor. It was however matched in performance by the OneX and the O4X. But Sammy was the only one who offered the best value to the masses. Functionality like otg and the fastest update schedule.
Galaxy S4 : I hope it uses this chip and performs an S2 ;-)

really good low power chip... but decrease in power consumption may be again become neutral because of higer resoultion display
