Samsung should focus on quality even though phone will little bit heavier.Upto 200 g is normal. If you feel it heavy you are very weak mentally and make physically.

siddparkar, 10 Jan 20138 cores? Then what, 16 cores? i'm getting tired of this ... moreXperia z is going to get hammered by sgs4 anyway. Sony can consider themselves lucky if they can sell 10 million of z under 3 months before arrival of its rival.

There you'll see how flexible the s3 is and how they do tests on the hard keys.. Plastic doesn't meen low quality, plastic is more durable than aluminumn in some cases. Please be broad-minded.

Now, let's not get out of line here. Samsung is only better than sony in mobile section and nothing else. So u don't go comparing a crappy samsung tv with a sony led bravia, or sony digital camera or blu ray players and the rest. inFact, don't even think it. Yeah, samsung have the best market strategy, adverts and phones but thats all they have against sony. And please sammy/galaxy/universe phone fans, don't attack me with useless comments, do ur homework. LONG LIVE PLAY, LONG LIVE SONY

Thats what gets me excited for sony!

Apps should terminate its operation when the phone is on standby to conserve battery. This is where the "full" multitasking of android is the problem ... they are too lazy.. Background process should be classified like in the case of iOS or WP8, like audio playback, remote notification.. etc things that does not require the screen.
Here android everything is a service which u cannot stop!.. ads .. single connection PER app.. all kindas useless rouge apps.. how much of your life is spent trying to fix that battery drain ..

Sure .. having a awesome chip like sammy will patch the problem .. but never solve if the OS is flawed and uncontrolled!

Samsung came out of block feature which is good IMO and .. they should also follow sony in creating a way to control all these apps!

Any information on clock speed? It won't match the Qualcomm's newest offerings unless it's going to have 2-2.5 GHz per core (excluding the power saving cores).
