Vanilla Pixel 7 renders surface, the phone will be a bit smaller than the current model

24 February 2022
It is expected to have a 6.2-6.4" display, however, battery capacity might increase. A new Tensor chipset is on the cards, new cameras may not be.

Plus, you're thinking the Pixel 7 will snap in half, if the Pixel 6 didn't, most likely this won't.

It's still more than 1 cm thick at the camera hump, which is ridiculous. And overall an enormous phone. They need to go back to the days of one smaller phone and one larger one.

Shellyman Studios, 24 Feb 2022You clearly haven't seen the Pixel 6 durability test.OnePlus 9 Pro didn't break OnePlus 10 Pro got halved so your point is invalid. Phone A doesn't mean shit for Phone B. Google could make a mistake with their next phone hence why the phones get tested but I am also aware that they have enough time until October to make sure it doesn't.

So long as it doesn't come with a curved screen, it's my next phone. I can square away with exynos (err... Tensor) but being as far as snapdragon if the price is right but for real, curved screen would be a deal breaker.

Hoping for the best with this series of Pixels..

I could definitely see this being like the iPhone 12 to iPhone 13 type of upgrade, there ain't that much but will improve the experience by alot. Also hope they fix that fingerprint sensor too 🤞

I'm not surprised by the settled design changes, under the hood improvements are what matters.

Who cares? You won't have the bugs fixed from the start, and you'll ruin the battery life with your constant Google Ad-Tracking™ software features. I w was excited for the Pixel 6, but never again.

Still too big, too ugly, stupid design with the power button, it needs to be where your thumb is. And if you must have a punch hole, just move it aside ffs.

Honestly, that’s still too big. Make the screen 6 inches and the battery 4500mAh, then you got a winner

Still too large. The current design really isn't all that. Google needs to back to the Pixel 5 size or at least make a flip phone. It's a pass for me because I want Qualcomm for emulation. MAME being my new favorite over GameCube.

                                      I thought the current Tensor has 2x X1 cores, 2x A76 cores and 4x A55 cores. Not 3x A76.

By the looks of it this will snap in half in JerryRigEverything's durability test. Antenna lines + camera visor = Pixel 7/2
