Lots of butthurt Android fans soon, Lumia paving the way for a Nokia comeback. This will embolden other manufacturers to join WP8 since only Samsung is making profits on Android.

Can anyone help me out with the following? I have been on the Windowsphone.com site to find a cache cleaner but there isn't one. Nor is there a Task Killer, or a different keyboard, or a different Messaging app. Why is WP8 such a closed system?

But being an RTOS programmer...the microkernels are basis of Unix systems and there off all of the spinoffs from there. By inheritance and design Android is also a microkernel based OS system. It doesnt fit in the argument of memory filling. By the way, between which inputs and outputs is the firmware gets loaded in WP8 OS?

As much as I hate Nokia's move to WP platform, it's nice to see them giving WP a fighting chance with their top-quality devices (anyone who objects Nokia's quality is top notch is a douche)...hopefully they'll be back to developing their in-house systems in no time...bring back Harmattan =]

If its a bug, i hope things it get fixed thats all what i said. Im not picky or searching for problems. Who would? i just read about the issue and was disappointed since i have it, thats it. Forgive me for reading forms about a phone i bought for $700, and if you read my first post, i told that buddy to not buy 820 but to buy 920 to bypass the issue and i didnt tell him " dude wp sucks buy andriod" its kills me that ppl are do stupid and cant have sense...anyways its my last post, im tried of none sense...

[deleted post]lol...amazing...still acting and researching...painting on an non existent issue! First you say solution is to get a lumia 920 to bypass 820 issue. Then your alter ego says... he notes the problem identical in both sd card and in flash...in 820. Still millions are buying, would buy it !!!

And you rectify your atitude similarly. And As You Said,if a bug hopefully shall be corrected soon. Considering an already announced performance update for WP8. The others can be the firmware itself MS uses microkernels unlike android etc here kernel is limited in routing requests between input and output. Most control is with the firmware hence are BIG in size. You need not worry and enjoy the 24GB storage with skydrive space additional.

I'm starting to learn more about the "Other" folder. It seems to be a huge cache file. That's why WP8 opens apps so fast, MS cache the most commonly used apps in the background without the user knowing it! No wonder they don't want you to access it, it would give the game away.

[deleted post]Don't laugh, they are desperate! The "other" folder on their phones eats the storage misteriosly. First to fall are HTC 8S users with 4 GB of internal storage, getting their phones bricked(they can't even receive calls). Let's keep a moment of silence out of solidarity with them :p.
