I see from the link, lot of names...eg. truthseekr... who also comments here. And this specific link what you have pasted clearly specifies the 3.5 gig memory filled, which should have been started by you, or as an android user would have started to point it out from just roaming around in websites for bad marketing. Also in the threads... they clearly explain you in steps what is cache and how WP8 dynamically allocated memory, shrinks and expands on apps installation. So i feel better find another bug and another name which is not totally listed there...i know android users are in large number and some how agressively defend turf by bad marketing...i still standby...fake issue reporting...while millions work with it without any issues...!!! Including me....!!!

Yep, some ppl are pain to deal with and they think that im against nokia or MS. My love is to MS and nokia and thats why i still have my 920 and i have asked you or someone else to buy 920 not 820 so you can bypass the issue.

No,im Nokia 920 and Iphone 4 user and i have both and i truly enjoy both. Not sure why u said im a andriod user but ill try to lower my intelligence to your level and say no im not...
ppl, im not doing bad marketing, im just saying MS has bugs and i hope things get better! and i didnt say i wanna ditch my nokia and buy me some andriod phone. dude be smart...

I dnt know why some people are so much annoyed when nokia makes some profits. Why so much hate ? If nokia sells some phones then its definitely good to the industry . Atleast thats what my logic says . It seems hatemongers and fanboys can go to any pathetic levels to promote their favourate brand and bash other brands . So pathetic .

"My complain" if you own a Windows phone 8, go to setting> phone storage> Phone, here you will see how much data you have used: music + videos, pictures,apps other, system and free space. Under "others", you will notice that the capcity it uses is high! on my 920 its 3.5GB and i truly dont know whats in this folder and the issue is that it just increases especially when you install apps and take videos and pictures. If you have a low memory on your phone, Others will eat your free space and you will hardly have any space to install apps or add music and pictures. Its a bug, and "Windows Hacker" has been asked and he said its a bug and we cant have control on it. MS is aware and hopefully a fix will be soon.
To be sure, search the issue: What about the "Other" storage section ? hopefully you will get some answers

The above proves...that you are pro-android and you dont like any manufacturers using MS as an OS. I would rather say...you own an Android phone. Please dont do anti marketing. Please talk truth and technology here. Not some cheap marketing tricks.

Till now, this bug has been detected in: Nokia 920, 820 and HTC 8x and 8s..im not really sure but i can say yes it is there because this is a software issue not a hardware...So, logically, if Nokia and HTC has it, then Samsung and other phones will do as long as they have MS as an OS dude

most whinners here are damn fussy and it doesnt matter which phone they buy, they are their always complaining. i own a HTC RADAR and Xperia phone and both have their advantages and require a learning curve, thats how technology evolves. Else their are ASHAS for you guys. Pay less WHIne less.

Hey, you're right. I never noticed that. I have &q... moreYes its a bit disappointing that MS has such a bug. No one can control others. In my 920, for example, when i install an App with 1MB and then delete it this app. Others will grow lets say 1MB but when deleting it about 600 or 700MB is deleted and the rest are stored in "Others". Some, if u install and uninstall the App "Others" will just increase. Check and see and let me know. If you want to decrease it a bit, clear your IE10 cache you will get few MBs.
Sadly as i said, no control on "Others" and you cant clear it, only by hard rest. I think Nokia maps that you download are saved there too. If you dont have enough space, backup your data and hard rest your phone. Talk to MS support, let them know, its will always help us to get the fix for it. Sorry for the bad news

I ditched my lumia 920 after 1 month for iphone 5
the reason is though the phone is amazing the app store for windows phone is terrible and sucks very badly no good app even paid one Microsoft failed at that part to attract good developer
even whatsapp sucks on windows phone compared to ios and android
