Man honestly you are wrong.
In first statement its right value of the Iphones are in 4-5 IOS updates nobody will tell a fella about that but majority of people swaps their devices every year or other year.
Most carries plans are for 2 years in which any of your phones regardless of brand gets old and you will buy a new one.
Most people wants fresh new phone rather than buy 2 years used one despite it was a flagship grade device worth 1000 bucks when it was brand new.
Also one more thing to be said 800 eur devices are premium just overpriced.
Nubia red magic 7 for example cost 500 and offers same or even better things like a 1000 eur Samsung, Sony or Apple phone.
But if something is costly it doesnt means its premium.
The only premium phone brand ever existed was Vertu.
And the only subpremium brand ever existed are Caviar made Iphones and Samsung S series.
Apart of Caviar and Vertu you have less or more expensive devices but no premium.
Redmi K50 cost 400 and does same tricks as any other 3 times more costlier phone.
But neither of them are premium.

Even though I never liked iOS, I admit that I admire the iPhone for it's quality build materials. They feel very sturdy and solid when you hold them in your hands and they feel very premium. If only it had android on it... PrisonOS is the absolute worst software experience ever!
From the android world, only Samsung and Sony have my attention, no other brand. I love Samsung's displays, but NO SD CARD SLOT = NO BUY! This is my favorite feature and I will ditch and bully any brand that doesn't have it, even though I may be a fan of it.
My 1TB SD card wants a new home, so I'm switching back to Sony!
Again, NO SD CARD SLOT = NO BUY! I don't care if your phone turns into a ufo and starts flying! NO SD CARD SLOT = NO BUY!
PS I'm only interested in HIGH-END flagship phones, no mid-range garage please!

In case of Apple most people gets 5 years of updates but will swap their phone every year or every second year.
In case of Android updates you get 2 android upgrades but also on monthly carrier plan most people get new device every 2 years.
My question is are thos 3 more year upgrades worth???
Deep in mind you know you get them but thinking about it doesnt add any value to the fact you get your new phone every year or every 2 years because your device will get old.

I just dont understand why people love tossing money out of the window.
Well i know most of thems says its the best brand.
Maybe yes maybe no. To me android were always much more userfriendly and way more compatibble than apple.
Also to me most 300 eur devices does same tricks as apple for 800 or 1000.
Runs any app equaly fast, having amoled screen 90+ hz refresh rate fast charging more ram more disk space charger in the box, jack for audio memory slot and many else.
The only difference is where brands like xiaomi for example have to sell 5 devices to earn eqal to 1 apple phone sold but majority of people will never needs their phone for more than a basic things which a 200-300 eur device does. Rest of difference is maybe for tech geeks and 1-2% of global population. Small kids, average adult after 40 years of age and elderly people will rather buy something way cheaper which does same tricks for much less.

More and more buy great value iPhone while every year overpriced Android flagship sales are down. Trend is clear people have voted with their wallets and they want iPhone.

Your people which needs best are tech geeks and people who can afford it.
Thus young people living with parents which ahve nothing else to pay apart their phone bill and doesnt care for life,
People mature by life experienced by age, elderly people who needs phone just for calling and messaging and using viber whatsapp or messenger to stay in touch with their famiklies in these cruel covid times where goverment telling us is not good to go anywhere just stay home and stay safe and for small childrens of age 6-12 maybe up to 15 as their first device a 200-300 eur phone is good enough.
In your comparison why you use your Kia for 7000 euros if you can get Bentley for half million. It does same tricks apart the experience from ride is different.
With phones is same.
Why to buy 1000-2000 eur device if for example Nubia Red Magic 7 for 500 have faster charging better screen, more ram equally fast cpu and gpu does good enough photos, supports fast charging comes with charger in the box have memory slot and 3,5 MM jack.
In case of Redmi K50 you have all above for 400.
In case of other phones or brands almost any 200-300 eur device does litterary same tricks than 1000-2000 apple, sony, samsung phone. Why to buy more expensive one when anyone can save 700 bucks for summer hollidays for example but gets litterary same phone.
If a Winter coat bought on market for 20 protects you from cold do you need 1000-2000 eur Hernans branded coat???
If a china made shoes unbranded or Tesco brand for example will last 2 years or even if only half year but you will pay up to 10 or 20 for them will you need 300 eur Hugo boss shoes which will last maybe 2 years too apart the fact you will care more for them ebcaise they were more expensive and maybe you wont use them on daily basis because they were more costly and you dont wanna worn them fast.
Countless of examples.
Fact or point is that having best of the best is not an option.
In current moren fast paced world where technology evolving every single day with a speed of light Today best product will be old tommorow and ancient day after. After a week it will looks like a something from a dark age.

Apple dont make budget uo to 200 eur devices.
And if the manufactuers fills or not fills the specs sheet most phones last easily 2-3 years regardless of brand in which time most consumers swap for something new.
Apple only robs customers by givving them the most possible.
But know what?
Having fastest CPU on the market by benchmarks score gives you nothing extra if a 200 eur phone wih dimensity 700 for example runs any app smoothly without any lagg and equally fast.
Having best screen on the market when half baked midranger from Opopo, Vivo, Xiaomi, Realme or Oneplus have amoled with 90 HZ refresh rate at price range of 200.
And there is countles of simmilar examples.
As long as people will swap their devices every 2-3 years there is no need for 1000 eur device which not everybody can afford and use all its features when half baked china made device does same tricks for 1/3 price and another thing is fact every little counts.
Its correct that apple earns on every device eqal to 3 average xiaomi phones sold but is not correct.
If an Indian brand Tata car maker which makes cars for roughly 2000 bucks can bring you from point A to pint B do i need a Ferrari Sportscar for 300k which will do same apart the fact its eats more fuel cost more for repair and insirance cost also way more. The only good is experience from traveling by 300 000k car ciompared to a 2000 eur cheap made car.
Restr is likely same.
With phones is alike.
If a 200 - 300 eur device runs any app equaly fast without lagg and overheats nobody needs to pay 700 more for phone.

But when it comes to Phones, there is no debate who is leading the market in terms of revenue. It will be a different story if one looks at the numbers of phones sold.
