FYI: 11th gen Intel Rocket Lake CPU's were only for desktop. Tiger Lake is for both U and H series 11th gen on mobile and are more efficient than 14nm Rocket Lake counterparts.

And the Mac does not come with default 2 years warranty, and further more no touch screen.

... moreNo intel isn't better in performance, not with this chip. And definitely not in the better one in a power constrained laptop, even with their latest.
The first place would be M1, followed by amd. Intel is getting into more ultraportables because of brand perception. People are much more familiar with them (or only familiar with core i5/i7) because of years of advertising.

For that price i can find Macbook Pro which is far better, ridiculous price range Huawei. Even some options of Macbook Pro are cheaper than this Matebook X Pro.

The gaming PC will of course crush the Matebook in terms of performance and screen refresh rate. However, what the gaming PC lacks will be brightness; I do believe only Apple's Mini-LED screen is brighter. Plus, touch screen. It's super nifty amongst so many PCs that don't have it.
Also, I find it super hilarious as to why everyone wants an AMD chip. If it's good, it's good. Frankly, none is the also-ran compared to the other, so I don't don't care. But the gist is that Intel offers more performance, and AMD offers better battery life. So I think that it's a good balance as Huawei already has good battery life on its PC. And up against its competition, it does suffer due to the price.
However, my biggest problem is the removal of the USB-A port. Unlike the headphone jack, this port is extremely relevant on a laptop, so seeing it disappear from its predecessors is a disappointment.
Long story short, design and impressions are what this PC does the best. While it's definitely slow against the Macs and gaming laptops, it will impress people with the design, speakers, and screen. If you don't like them, then you're at the wrong news article:)

People still think 'core i 'n' ' is the best, though most people have no idea as to what core i is anyway. That's how much intel's marketing has influenced the masses.
It's just like politicians taking advantage of ignorance of masses.

Why are they bringing Tiger Lake this year? It's already outdated the moment Alder Lake appeared and now it's overpriced. Matebook E does look pretty nice tho.

Still no amd tablet in windows space.
This is just bad.
Now amd is much more efficient than intel in the ultraportable segment and it's still considered the alternative by OEMs. Brand perception..it's so hard to change.
