Motorola should produce their flagship phones with Android one and guaranteed 3-5 years security and software updates... Any phone that cost more than £200 also should supported 2-3 years security and software updates. Anything else you get what you pay for from Motorola and not forget to mention most phones battery last nearly two days...
Lets hope someone from Motorola read and respond for this message or maybe gsmarena team can forward this request to Motorola support team...

AndroidAuthority, 28 Feb 2022At that price just get a Samsung or apple phone.Not everyone wants to suffer Samsung's bloatware or be chained to Apple's infrastructure. I use Motorola because of its bloat free OS.

Girlfriend got this phone as her first Android, moving from Apple. Phone sucked. She hated the features vs my Samsung Galaxy S21, took her awhile to figure out (which she never fully did), and within a month, the phone was dead because she dropped it in a puddle getting out of the car. No waterproof rating is a huge failure in my eyes.
On that note, I've had Samsung Galaxy Notes the whole time they were made. I checked out the phone, and hated the system too. The camera wasn't anywhere near as good of quality for nearly the same megapixel, the OS sucked compared to a normal Android, the audio quality just wasn't there. It even took me a bit to figure things out and find apps, settings and all. All around I disliked the phone.

GSMArena usually never takes this long for posting review of such an important flagship phone, especially considering its all round package and comparatively affordable price for a snapdragon 8 gen1 smartphone. I feel Motorola has listened to fans and ticked most boxes for setting a new standard in many key software/hardware areas.

I think the review of this phone takes bit long by GSMarena. I haven't seen such delay IMO. I waited for few days and then I decided to buy this without waiting for review to continue my motorola association for another few more years after my 4.5 years Moto G5 plus usage. Mine is just basic usage and for that, this is pretty decent except couple of points. As many reviewer pointed out, power and volume button location bit odd esp for my hands. Even though claimed as stereo, bottom speaker seem showing more muscle than top one. Even though I was completely ready to buy 256GB version, in India, they sell only 128GB version without option for memory expansion. But that's fine. I use 3 google account and get 45 GB together on the cloud for any backup. So, not a major concern though. For Initial few days, I felt uncomfortable to move from G5 plus to this due to its large size. but now, I am fine with that. One problem I noticed when I took a out door view. Took a video with sky back drop and during playback, sky portion was kind of flickering. Not sure what's the problem. Overall a decent phone with no major complaint at least for me.
