1. It's a fla... moreSnapdragon 8 Gen 1 is THE flagship chip; runs cooler and early reports show drastically faster, like Apple M1 levels of performance. (Galaxy S2 ultra has this chip)
Major screen upgrade (144Hz 10-bit HDR)
More memory and Ram over previous models (12 gig Ram and 512 gig storage options)
Other than the plastic body and the older gen Gorilla glass(for the most part the only real difference is gen3 is thicker?) This phone is a substantial upgrade. The Chinese release reviews so far are reporting an excellent camera as well and this global variant has the same sensors and software...are you guys even reading the same article I am? 3rd paragraph? They stayed 3 year security updates and the next 2 major android versions are"promised" (grain of salt moment but it was announced that way)

So in other words, I'm better off keeping my MotoZ4 which is paid off and has been flawless... welcome any feedback because I have been a fan of Motorola ever since the Startac flip phone and DroidX

The deciding factor will be the quality of the camera. Considering previous Moto phones though, I am not holding much hope.

The high pricing comes from import taxes in EU especially, that are huge. At the base, the price is quite ok in relation with specs but in Europe at least it's a bad deal and don't see it selling in large numbers.

This looks very promising. The one point that is an issue is only two OS updates and three years of Security updates. For my part, I would like to see at much more on both fronts.

They were one of the few to have really good 10-bit panels in the price range
