tekina, 28 Feb 2022Pointless, unsustainable, inefficient and dangerous wattage... moreI'm asking fully charging in 3 seconds if possible. What's wrong with it? What's dangerous? Dude my cpu draw more than that on 5ghz all core overclock and my house isn't on fire yet for a 2 years. Not to mention other electronics. 80% capacity after 1000 changes = 2-2.5 years. Also considering power draw it's the same , charging on 25w for hour and half and on 150 for 10 min makes no difference at least in terms of bills.

Also, who's going to take into account the wear and tear on the battery with such high powers? Considering that batteries are non-removable now.
Also, cars are big bulky machines with enough safety features and time tested mechanics. A 6inch by 3inch by 0.4 inch slab of glass, electronics and metal being pumped with 200W is not exactly something I find interesting.

Those complaining that it will mess up the battery just don't understand what people actually prefer in real life. They don't care what happens in 1 year, what they need is fast charging on every day in that 1 year.

I imagine that they ask for the vehicle limit to be 100kph, after all, exceeding it is dangerous and what is the point of going faster?

Is it available for sale... moreDon't bother, I really wanted to buy the 50W SuperVOOC/Dart Mini (GaN) charger which is a small flat key fob sized charger, but it's advisable nowhere, even though their CEO (madhav) had tweeted about it when he was just hanging India operations, so I thought i might be able to buy it here on Flipkart, etc but I only found it on Giztop & maybe AliExpress, so I didn't bother importing!

80 percent after 1000 cycles but that is still quite a significant degradation. Oppo can do 1600 cycle before hitting 80 percent so why can't they borrow the tech from them ?
