Imagine if one of the phones was OnePlus 10 Pro. That would be a total waste in 2 days. So bend test helps there. But drop test is also equally required

That is why I said they are not a true depiction of build because that will only be when the drop test is included. That may not be important to everyone tho, as most use cases and that works for them. But there are some, like me, who do not like using a case or any sort of protection, and so a drop test is only way to know if the phone will be fine after a fall

This is why people stick to the brands they know just look at the OP 10 pro a perfect phone( even less expensive than s22 ultra) but just snappped in half. Now take a look at Samsung

I bought Xiaomi Mi5 which also snapped in half in his test. I bought it anyway, had it for 3 years, now someone else has it for some 3 years too and it's still not snapped in half. What I do care is how phone stands against regular wear and scratches more than for drops. I actually NEVER cared about drops. That's the most extreme case that never happened to me in entire history of owning smartphones. Why would I suddenly care now? I do care how quickly glass scratches in my pockets, how quickly paint strips away on metal sides, are plastic sides on phones solid plastics or painted, is fingerprint scanner sensitive to scratches, stuff like that is way more important to me. Which is why such videos are VERY informative for me. Even the unnecessary scratching of sides with knife blade. He could just say "sides are plastic", but unless he scratches it, it's hard to tell what's underneath, plastic of same color or different color with paint on top. JRE's videos are very informative if you understand the content.
