Look a... moreThats the thing, i do understand iphone has nothing "innovative" per se, but the competition itself adding hz to refresh rate is not at all innovative or even in any way useful to a normal consumer, these are just trends that all smartphones follow, some day its popup camera, while some its an amoled screen. Although apple also gets its award due to the "make only what users need" formula, and whatever they do becomes a market trend, and that requires extensive research. They know users don't want some weird refresh rate, but they knew people demanded amoled at that price point, so they delivered that just fine.

i usually don't care about chinese smartphones but this is just the perfect fold phone size, if pixel release the similar size of fold then I am sold

How ironically Oppo N won 👏🏻👏🏻 Right size and price. People don't want big and bulky phone that can't even fit properly in your pants pocket. Not to mention trying to sit with that kinda phone in your pocket. To those who like big and bulky phone, I'll bet you always carry a bag or fanny pack with you all the time when you're going out. Really troublesome 🤦🏻♂️ iPhone won?! Well, more sourness comments is expected 🤦🏻♂️

No surprise why Oppo get that award. It's like $500 less than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and packs almost identical hardware, including the chipset.

Oppo Find N gets an award for disrupting the industry while the Z Fold 3 does not. I wish I could put a clown face in here.

I can't stand iOS but congratulations to the iPhone 13 Pro Max for winning the best smartphone award. Apple really nailed it when it came to battery life. Congratulations to Oppo too. I believe the Find N is the best book-type foldable. That seems more of my style than the Fold 3.
Any foldable with Snapdragon 888 and let's throw in the Duo 2 would make awesome emulation devices. These phones would at least be with you all the time vs. a handheld like a Steam Deck which you'll likely leave at home a lot being too large and heavy.
Smartphones will make handhelds obsolete like they did to media players and iPods. The Switch 2 won't sell as well as the Switch 1 like Wii to Wii U. Novelty will wear off. More people will just stick to their own Android smartphones and be good with emulation up to PS2 and GameCube. At least the games are free. Emulation scene is great right now.
