The iPhone has been selling since 2007 while the Samsung S series since 2010. iPhone is Apple's only smartphone line. Can't say the same about Samsung.

Fact is Nokia has a far better build quality than Samsung can ever dream of and i get you must e forgetful so i will repeat. How the hell can sgs2 have a better build quality than sgs3 when sgs3 is an upgrade from sgs2? There you have it you are too blind to think. If something is not so good there is no use sugarcoating it, the sgs3 sucks build quality wise, wp8 is incomplete(at least you know i use it) and ios has the best quality apps and numbers (even though i dislike anything apple). Those are facts take it or leave it and its also a fact that Samsung has succeeded in making people believe they make the best phone by using androids weaknesses as strength (I'll just say quad-core cpus that no other os really needs).

gilbs, 14 Jan 2013Wherever there's news about Samsung or iPhone, the Nokia fa... moreAbsolutely agree with you. It has always been the case with frustrated fanboys. When Nokia was on top all were speaking against them, about how Nokia hangs, about symbian, design and what not. Same is the case with Samsung now. Now that Nokia is not doing well now all will say how good the products are. As for Sony it has always been the case of not selling despite being good (according to many of them, who I thing despite praising their products do not buy the same). See the rating of xperia z vs s3 in gsmarena and definitely will be opposite in terms of sale. So finally I think nothing succeeds like success and two best brands today are definitely Samsung and Apple.

From car bumpers, high-impact lenses and helmets, even Glocks. The more exotic sports cars now use carbon-fiber reinforced polymers for their bodies. Those who say plastics are cheap are kidding themselves. In fact, most mobile devices like phones and cameras made of glass/aluminum are encased in plastic cases (Otter, Pelican cases, etc.)

I still have a Samsung BADA Wave 2 it has it has the most elegant Metal Alloy body, has never let me down or has a single scratch on it in nearly 2 years I cant wait to upgrade to my galaxy S3.. It would be very interesting if USA sales were excluded from these figures. I suspect Apple will be scraping the bottom of the barrel with Nokia and BB...
The writing is on the wall for Apple and the “chickens are coming come home to roost”. Many “hi-tech” industry commentators said Apple was doing itself a lot more harm than good when they started the “Suing Wars” against everyone and anyone in the cell phone business or any other bussiness, which quite frankly started to push many i’fans away from Apple. Its only the hard core blind i’sheep left.
Remember way back in Aug 2012 ...Apple Wins California Lawsuit, Samsung fined 1.5 Billion bla,bla bla. Apple CEO Tim" Cook stated Upon its victory "At Apple, we value originality.. We applaud the court... for sending a loud and clear message that STEALING ISN’T RIGHT."
It is also on record that Steve Jobs stated publicly that "Apple has always been SHAMELESS ABOUT STEALING GREAT IDEAS".
So what is it APPLE? IS STEALING RIGHT OR WRONG?? You reap what you sow RIP. ….

Just to add and this may or may not be relevant but my Job requires me to test phones everyday. Having intensively used ios, android, WM, and BlackBerry OS android is the superior OS of them all and Samsung seem to be the most innovative with the platform. Though im not a fan of Samsung products its easy to see why the phone is superior to the competition at present .This may change in the future but only time will tell. however if Samsung didnt up their standards and apple didnt have such a strong fan base we wouldn't see the new Xperia z or blackberry 10 would be non existence. This industry is interesting

We spend more time staring at our screens today than ever before. More CPU power and features allow us to do more things. Before we just call/txt and the occasional FB or mobile browsing. Today, call/txt is just a minor activity (an app among many). If a desktop or laptop screen strains the eye, moreso a mobile device used while on the move. Now that technology allows us to make thinner phones it is possible to use larger screens and keep the mass of the phone similar to early cell phones (e.g. Nokia 2110 or Motorola microtac) which we also used to put in our pockets. Phones are really pocket PC's now than just phones.

For those of you guys who are always commenting on phones made of plastics are not quality phones, you all better stop commenting because you are all wrong. I personally doesn't mind whether the phones are made of aluminium, gold, diamond, cheese, cakes or plastics. As long as the meterial used lasts at least 5 years, I'll be happy. Besides, most people who owns a phone I noticed they their phones are with casing. What matters most is the software in the phones itself. Nowadays all people in the planet wants superfast phones not laggy phones, longer battery life and off course bigger screen. Those having a "retina" eyesight and are happy with small screen phones can stick to a 2.4' phones. I am sure they will be happy with the small size. Maybe for those who dreaded a bigger screen phone "must" be thinking whenever they pick up a 5 inch phones, in their mind I believed they are thinking that they are carrying a 40 inch TV SET. Now I wonder where have psychology and common sense gone wrong.
