Of course the Xiaomi 12 pro should be more expensive. I think as you mention €200 more is about right for the Xiaomi 12 pro but the Xiaomi 12 should be around the same price as the Gt2 pro as they close enough in terms of specs

Would expect th... more12 Pro has a more expensive main camera sensor och a proper telephoto sensor compared to GT 2 Pro, also wireless charing which GT2 Pro lacks. For this reason, I don't think it is reasonable to assume that the same should be identical. Phones with wireless charging and telephoto are cameras usually more expansive than phones that lack these features. Thus, one would expect that 12 Pro should be approx. €200 more expansive than GT Pro.

yeah, with these prices they'll have huge sales...Xiaomi with trash UI, no Desktop Mode, USB 2..I had a Mi 9T and it was OK, but full of bugs, so I've switched to P30 Pro which was amazing, I really hope Huawei will recover GMS since it's a pity, they're making the perfect phone. I'm not a fan of Sammy since they're using the trash Exynos on Europe, but currently there is no alternative on the market, so I bought a trash S20+ 5G :(

Would expect the European price of the Xiaomi 12 to be the same as the Xiaomi mi 11 launch price at most. Anything more would be ridiculously high for a phone with a very mediocre camera setup and an average Huaxing Optoelectronics screen. It shouldn't launch for more than the Realme gt2 pro I reckon. I would guess a maximum of 799 euro for 8gb 256gb (if they have that storage option). The price of the 12x is not competitive at all in China and consequently sales have been very poor so it's not a very compelling phone at its price point.

if i were given choice between S22 and Mi 12, at least Mi price need to be cheaper around $350-500 than S22 so i prefer to buy Mi 12

I think this leak is wrong.
1. Xiaomi 12 launch price in China was cheaper thant 11 ( Xiaomi Mi 11 8GB/128GB: CNY 3,999 versu 12: 3,699 (43 eur or so difference).
2 If it's more expensive the S22, it will be hard to sell.
The only thing could be if the launch 12X in Europe but a competitive price. In that case, 12x will be the "real" sucessor of the 12 and it would compete against base S22 model.
