Analyst: iPhone 14 Pro duo to switch to dual punch hole design

Only the Pros will adopt the new design this year, says Ross Young. The design is described as "pill + hole", referring to the characteristic shape.

    Oh no, i hope they won't make it too ugly. I really liked a notch.
    And for the people making fun of it, you asked for this and now you'll get this. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      I don't see apple doing this at all, plus under-display cameras are definitely not there yet so unless the technology is perfected, that likely won't be on an iPhone for 5+ years

                Unless you're not joking, in which case - Android phones first got punch holes in late 2018 / early 2019, and considering the fact that other companies know they can use just the front camera for face recognition instead of having like 2 extra sensors (although I think Apple's is more accurate), them copying Apple's pill and hole is very unlikely.

Apple knows iPhone can't beat Android on design but more importantly Apple knows Apple users love the notch and thick bezels.

                    A lot of people for some reason buy iPhones as a status symbol and having a unique design even if it's bad is important. It's a good thing android OEMs have moved past the notch. There's a reason why many iPhone cases are so tacky with the cutout for the brand logo.

                              Whats the gap between pill and dot is for? Should have filled that gap for long pill and made it 3% less ugly

                                  i think i can change to bionic phone next year but i think not again.

                                    First everyone (except Apple fanboys) will make fun of it. Then other manufacturers will start copying it. Then non-fanboys will have no option but to accept it. This is starting to become a trend.
