iphones are boring in hardware except cpu
they are always do dripping in adding features like:
next iphoe will have 48 megapixel camera after 3 years of android phones
iphone 13 had 120hz display after 2 years of android phone
iphones still have notche and iphone 14 renders show double punche hole display that very bad
i am not agree with 200 watt charger but they want add 30 watt charger
they dont change lightning port with usb c Because of their profit that is a better standard and good for earth

I guess I get it: iphones last longer, look nice, they have good cameras and some of them actually fit in your pocket - how cool is that nowadays! :) And I guess most people don’t need to send, sort and generally manage a lot of files, so they really don’t care about the iffy file system. For me this has always been the deal breaker so far but I’m still considering switching to ios for all the reasons I listed above, I guess you have to compromise either way…

Kinda obvious? iPhone only launches 4 phones or year, and there are dozens of android manufacturers launching dozens of phones every month, it's hard for one phone to be on this list, important metric is the global android vs iOS market share.

You know it took until iPhone 3gs to iPhone sales starting to go high. Apple had zero brand name with phones and people laughted about iPhone. Yet over and over again Apple proved they had something there and been going their own way.
What most people want from their phones Apple does those things really really well

I'm not a fan of either however I setup both types of devices daily.
The apple ecosystem is what works for apple, locking people into their platform.

If a parent or grad parent needs a device and you don't want to be the family tech service...folks say get an Apple device. Think about human population and the % you run into that are techie enough to have the patience to setup a device... I'm a techie and use android phones/watches and still wonder why Google can't get basic OS menu and navigation right and build from there instead of recreating the wheel and therefore driving basic users away.
